The great war of Amanda vs. Oil Paint, Round II.


Assignment: Paint on a thick, wet ground.


Assignment: Same as above, homework version. Wet on wet. The bane of my existence.
Assignment: For this in-class, three week painting we used the Baroque technique of layering burnt sienna, terra verte, and flesh tones. We had one model, but we had to include two figures in the finished piece.

I need to find a better way to take photographs of my paintings.

In other news, everyone is busy and exhausted. BUT... it's getting warmer.

Joan Jonas and Sesame Street

For my History of Video Art midterm I made a short video analyzing an artist's piece from the early years of the medium. I chose Organic Honey's Visual Telepathy (1972) by Joan Jonas.
